A much-loved Dubai dining brand is coming to the UK for the first time with a flagship restaurant in Leeds.

The UAE and India-based restaurant brand India Bistro is set to open in Chapel Allerton this month and promises to be a vibrant destination, with authentic Indian dishes and bold cocktails, all infused with modern innovation. 

India Bistro is a casual yet refined dining experience that reflects the warmth and richness of Indian cuisine and culture. From the bustling lanes of Delhi and Punjab to the royal kitchens of Awadh, India Bistro celebrates iconic regional dishes from North India and beyond, crafted by highly skilled chefs using the freshest ingredients and a touch of contemporary flair.

With four established restaurants – two in Dubai and two in India – India Bistro has earned a reputation for exceptional culinary craftsmanship and heartfelt hospitality.

Leeds diners will enjoy a specially curated all day menu designed to offer a unique India Bistro experience, featuring iconic Indian dishes and local favourites in a modern, elegant setting.  

Signature dishes include aromatic kebabs like the Gosht Seekh Kebab, tender tandoori chicken cooked over open flames, Champaran mutton and mango prawn curry. These are accompanied by delicious sides including Papad Parivar and Dal Tadka, and freshly baked offerings such as truffle and cheese kulcha, Laccha paratha and tandoori roti.

For fans of vegetarian dishes, the restaurant features flavourful options like Paneer Tikka Biryani, Sakarkand ki chaat, and sumptuous salads infused with regional spices. India Bistro also draws inspiration from lesser-known culinary gems, exploring street food and mouth-watering regional delicacies. 

The restaurant will be an elegantly designed space for 120 guests where India Bistro’s bold flavours, state-of-the-art techniques and meticulous presentation all combine to set new standards in modern Indian dining.  

The bar is designed as a journey in itself where guests can expect a refined, immersive experience. Cocktails are inspired by the bold, aromatic flavours of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa and an extensive selection of craft beers and premium spirits all reflecting India Bistro’s commitment to high-quality, globally inspired flavours.

The interior design of the restaurant will be as impressive as the food and drinks, with a contemporary aesthetic, soft lighting, warm tones, and plush seating all creating an inviting and laid-back atmosphere for everything from intimate gatherings to lively social moments.

Building and fit out works on the Leeds restaurant are underway and India Bistro is expected to open its doors ahead of the festive season.
