Specification for supplying complete print artwork

Advertisement sizes

All adverts that ‘bleed’ off the page need to have no less than 3mm added to each edge (the

Bleed size) that will be cut down to the final magazine size (the Trim size).

All sizes are Height x Width

Double Page Spread: 297mm x 420mm (Trim size) 303mm x 426mm (Bleed size)

Please make sure any type is at least 10mm clear of the edge of the page.

Double page spread artwork to be inserted into perfect bound publications should allow for thespine when being created.

Full Page: 297mm x 210mm (Trim size) 303mm x 216mm (Bleed size)

Half Page Vertical: 260mm x 92mm

Half Page Horizontal: 130mm x 185mm

Quarter Page Vertical: 130mm x 92mm

Eighth Page Horizontal: 63mm x 92mm

Supplying your artwork:

We can accept artwork as a High Resolution (minimum 300dpi at actual size), CMYK, PDF with all fonts embedded, or as a high resolution (minimum 300dpi at actual size), CMYK, JPEG

Please be aware that advertisements and images supplied as RGB (used for computer monitor display) will be converted by the design studio to the correct CMYK format (used for print) this may result in anunexpected colour shift when printed.

We cannot accept files supplied in the following formats:

Microsoft Publisher, Word, Powerpoint, Excel or Corel Draw

Artwork should be emailed to the relevant Sales Representative

Large files over 25MB should be sent via a file delivery host such as WeTransfer, Hightail or Dropbox.
