“Opening at Meadowhall is a huge moment for us. It’s eight courts in one of the North’s biggest destinations, and we’ve built it to be a genuinely brilliant place to play,” says Alex Fleming, CEO and Founder of Play Padel Group.

“Whether it’s your first ever game or your 500th, padel is one of the most addictive, sociable sports going, and our whole ethos is that it’s for everyone: all people, all ages, all abilities. We can’t wait to open the doors and get a whole new community on court.”

Darren Pearce, Centre Director at Meadowhall, said: “Play Padel is a brilliant addition to Meadowhall giving visitors another reason to spend time at the centre, whether they’re trying padel for the first time or enjoying a regular game with friends.

“It’s fantastic to see a Sheffield-founded business choose Meadowhall for its biggest site yet. We’re looking forward to welcoming players from across Sheffield and beyond to make the most of it.”
