Food lovers in Sheffield have a brand-new way to explore the city centre this autumn. Launched earlier this week, Sheffield Food Tours has introduced its brand-new City Centre Self-Guided Food Tour, designed to showcase the best of the city’s independent food and drink scene at your own pace.

Timed to tie in directly with Dine Sheffield Restaurant Week (running 12–25 October) and developed in partnership with Sheffield BID, the trail puts a big focus on vibrant, local street food. Built for individuals, couples, and groups, the self-guided route takes in five handpicked city centre venues, with a signature dish included at four stops and a special drink tasting at a fifth.

Highlights of the City Centre Self-Guided Food Tour:

Street Food Focused: Taste your way through 5 independent city centre stops – featuring food at four venues and a curated drink tasting at a fifth.

Dine Sheffield Special: Launching alongside Dine Sheffield (12–25 October) to celebrate the city’s hospitality scene

Total Flexibility: Explore at your own pace using easy-to-follow digital guides on your phone.

“We have many brilliant independent venues in Sheffield”, said Sophie Barber, Founder of Sheffield Food Tours. “Teaming up with Sheffield BID to launch this alongside Dine Sheffield feels like the perfect fit. It gives people total flexibility to eat their way around 5 fantastic city centre venues in their own time. And with Christmas around the corner, our gift vouchers offer a really thoughtful way to gift an experience while keeping support right here in Sheffield.”
