The award-deserving German Comedy Ambassador Henning Wehn takes an unbiased look at climate change, a topic sure to delight audiences and no surprise. And if so can we avoid the potholes? Alfie Moore explores this and more in Acopalypse Now on Saturday 13 February at the Montgomery. In his brand-new tour, Alfie has the antidote to the breakdown of law and order, fake news and the price of baked beans. Doomsday is no laughing matter, but this show certainly is. Comedian, corporate speaker and comedy writer of the hit BBC Radio 4 show It’s a Fair Cop, Alfie presents his distinctive comedy from his perspective as a retired police officer of twenty years.

Following his acclaimed 100+ date worldwide tour, Aurie Styla is back on the road with his brand new show Maverick, coming to the Montgomery on Friday 26 February. Aurie is one of the most naturally charismatic and hilarious comedians around, having appeared on Richard Osman’s House Of Games, Comedy Central Live, Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club and more. Although life seems nice and comfortable, something is throwing off the scales of wins and fails. The show hilariously explores Aurie’s bad work-life balance, family influence, relationships, health and more.

Don your deerstalker, grab your magnifying glass and get your ‘finger of suspicion’ at the ready because Edinburgh Fringe favourites, Degrees of Error, are bringing back their multiple sell-out show Murder She Didn’t Write for your sleuthing pleasure. Using audience suggestions to create a classic murder mystery on-the-spot, this ingenious improvised comedy invents a hilarious improvised murder mystery. All you have to do… is solve it! Ms Gold poisoned at a synchronised swimming gala? Dr Blue exploded by cannon during a hot air balloon race? Professor Violet crushed to death at a Love Island recoupling? The audience decides – but can you guess whodunnit before the killer is revealed? At the Montgomery from Thursday 18 – Saturday 20 March.

Direct from the West End, Shoddy Theatre and The Production Garden, in association with Chelmsford Theatre, presents A Shoddy Detective and the Art of Deception, a laugh-out-loud comedy whodunit, featuring four actors, a dozen characters and a whole load of chaos. When a priceless painting vanishes at a manor auction, Detective Stuart Pidcock and his unlikely ally must interrogate eccentric suspects, outwit a cunning thief, and crack the century’s mystery. After sell-out runs in the West End, at the Edinburgh Fringe and across the UK, prepare for a bigger, funnier, and even more ridiculous show than before in.
