Law firm BRM is leading the pack at this year’s Blythe House Hospice Chatsworth 10K as headline sponsor for the popular fundraiser.

The Derbyshire and Yorkshire based solicitors is continuing its long-term partnership with Blythe House Hospice by supporting the 10k race around the grounds of Chatsworth estate for the sixth-year running.

Alongside sponsoring the event, BRM is fielding a team of runners, including Lewis Hastie, contentious probate director, Holly Wardle, solicitor, Eva Gardner, SQE apprentice, Alec Smith, paralegal and administrator, Ali Wilbourn, legal secretary, Amelia Chapman, management accountant, Lewis Robinson, technical assistant, and Jane Turner, events and BD coordinator.

Eva said: “After running the Chatsworth 10K for the first time last year, I knew I wanted to have another go. Whilst it was a challenging course, it was wonderful to run through the woodlands, and it certainly helped hearing the supporters cheering us along from the side. I can’t wait to represent BRM again in September and support Blythe House Hospice.”

Alec said: “I ran Chatsworth 10k in 2025 and I’m excited to be running it again this year. It’s a brilliant way to enjoy the park and estate, whilst also supporting Blyth House Hospice. I’m excited to once again represent BRM and I’m hopeful I can get a quicker time this year!”

BRM has been supporting the charity since 2017, continuing its longstanding partnership as Helen’s Trust became part of Blythe House Hospice, with annual Wills Month campaigns raising over £75,000 in donations.

Rob Woodhead, executive director at BRM, leads the annual Wills Month campaigns alongside fellow executive director Paul Berresford.

Rob said: “We’ve raised funds for Blythe House Hospice for almost a decade through different initiatives, and we’re proud to once again be the headline sponsor of their Chatsworth 10K – a highlight of the Derbyshire sporting calendar.

“From everyone at BRM, we wish you the best of luck, have fun, and enjoy running, walking, and racing around the stunning grounds at Chatsworth.”

The Blythe House Hospice Chatsworth 10K is an official, chip-timed race taking place on Sunday 13 September. There is also a 3K fun run for younger runners and those looking for a shorter challenge.

All funds raised will support Blythe House Hospice’s services, providing care and support for those affected by life-limiting illnesses across the High Peak, Hope Valley, Derbyshire Dales, Chesterfield and North-East Derbyshire.

Emily Passey, corporate fundraiser at Blythe House Hospice, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to BRM for their continued support as headline sponsor of the Chatsworth 10k. Their ongoing commitment to the event and to the hospice makes a real difference, helping us raise the vital funds needed to provide compassionate care, free of charge, to local patients and families.

“Last year’s event was our most successful yet, raising more than £54,000 in support of local hospice care. BRM’s continued support has played an important part in the success of the Chatsworth 10k, and we’re delighted to have them alongside us once again this year.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming hundreds of runners back to Chatsworth this September for another fantastic day and, with the continued support of BRM, making this year’s event another great success.”
