Kelham Pride, Sheffield’s biggest LGBTQ+ event, returns Saturday 20th June for its third year. Taking place in the Kelham Island and Neepsend areas of the city, the day festival remains free to attend with something for everyone on offer.

As a charity-run, volunteer-led event, Kelham Pride relies on the support of businesses and organisations to ensure it remains free of charge and accessible to the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.

Main stage sponsors for 2026 include: First Customer Contact Centre, Meadowhall, Sheffield Hallam University, University of Sheffield, Sheffield City Hall and Utilita Arena Sheffield. International law firm CMS joins as a Tier One sponsor, with Chapter II and Corporation returning as media partners.

The event will begin with a pride march from Kelham Island Museum ending at the main stage on Burton Road. In 2025, the festival attracted over 11,500 people throughout the day across the main stage and its numerous partner venues.

Ady Jaques, lead fundraiser, Kelham Pride, said: “It is a testament to the city that we have such inclusive businesses and institutions that are willing to put their money where their mouth is to support the LGBTQ+ community and show their solidarity.

“I would like to extend a huge thank you to all our sponsors on behalf of everyone at Kelham Pride for allowing us to continue to thrive.”

Chris Endersby-Morton, operations manager, First Customer Contact Centre, said: “We’re incredibly proud to support Kelham Pride and the celebration of diversity and inclusion it represents.

“At First Customer Contact Ltd, Pride is more than an event; it’s a reflection of our commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and able to be their authentic selves. We’re excited to stand alongside our community in championing equality and inclusion.”

Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “We’re proud to support Kelham Pride once again this year. It’s become a fantastic weekend in the calendar, and we’re proud to play a part in bringing it to life.

“Events like this make a real difference, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support something that unites so many people for a fantastic day of celebration.”

Prof Liz Mossop, Vice-Chancellor, Sheffield Hallam University, said: “As a university, we are committed to creating an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and supports all members of our community to be their authentic selves at Sheffield Hallam.

“Recent reports highlighting the UK’s decline in LGBTQ+ rights rankings underline just how important it is to foster environments where everyone feels safe, valued and that they truly belong. We are proud to stand with our LGBTQ+ communities, and events like Pride are a powerful opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to equality, respect and inclusion for all.”

Professor Richard Phillips, organisational lead for LGBT+ Inclusion, University of Sheffield, said: “The University of Sheffield is proud to be a headline sponsor for this year’s Kelham Pride. Celebrating and supporting Sheffield’s diverse communities is at the very core of who we are, and we are pleased to support an event that promotes joy, inclusion and unity.

“Kelham Pride has quickly become a vital and vibrant fixture in Sheffield’s cultural calendar. Many of our staff and students look forward to this event every year. We are pleased to stand alongside our partners across the city to ensure it remains a welcoming and accessible celebration for everyone.”

Dom Stokes, General Manager, Sheffield City Hall and Utilita Arena Sheffield, said: “It’s our absolute pleasure and privilege to be asked to be involved with Kelham Pride this year.

“For over 130 years combined, Sheffield City Hall and Utilita Arena Sheffield have been at the heart of promoting and celebrating our local community. This brilliant partnership allows us all to continue that essential tradition whilst having the very best time doing it.”
