Shackleton’s Gallery is marking its first birthday at Fox Valley with a special Spring Bank Holiday weekend of celebrations from 23–25 May.

The birthday weekend will feature exclusive in‑store offers, birthday cake, and 50 goody bags for the first 50 orders. 

The award‑winning home and furniture retailer opened its Fox Valley store in May 2025, unveiling the UK’s first dedicated Gallery Living concept store, fast becoming north Sheffield’s go to store for furniture and home furnishings. 

The 14,700 sq. ft. space transformed the former Sandersons Department Store into a contemporary home and furniture destination, offering a full range of Gallery furniture, homewares, accessories, gifting and a stylish first‑floor café.

Since opening, Shackletons Gallery has become a standout part of the centre’s retail line‑up, known for its fabulous displays, friendly and knowledgeable team and popular first floor café. 

To celebrate a successful first year the red carpet and a balloon arch will be out for the occasion, and the store is hosting a weekend of birthday festivities, including:

• 50 free goody bags for the first 50 orders. 
• A special birthday giveaway competition 
• Birthday cake and treats for customers
• New season collections and displays throughout the store

The birthday celebrations come just ahead of another major milestone for the area, as Fox Valley prepares to mark its 10th birthday in June with its own special weekend of events.

Shackletons was founded 26 years ago by brothers David and Paul Shackleton in the Ribble Valley and has grown steadily, with the Fox Valley store representing the first of its new concept formats in partnership with Gallery.

The team at Fox Valley is inviting customers old and new to join them for the weekend of birthday fun and fantastic offers as they celebrate a successful first year in north Sheffield.
