Embrace Veganuary on Sunday 18 January and discover the very best local and handmade finds – even discover some new favourites at the first BIG Vegan Market at The Steamworks just off Bramall Lane.

Shop a variety of plant-based and sustainable food, cosmetics, jewellery, homeware and more under one roof (also heated to beat the January cold!). You may even find yourself inspired to make some plant-based changes!

Street food favourites on the vegan scene joining the market are hot food traders, Brownins Big Taste and El Dorado Taqueria, alongside delicious dairy-free ice cream by Soft Serve Cartel. Wonderful neighbours Lovely Rita’s, will be there to serve up some incredible pastries, and their fan favourite focaccias.

“We’re thrilled to be launching our first ever Vegan Market at The Steamworks this January,” said events manager Gem Pettitt. “As a team of vegans and vegetarians ourselves, we felt it was a perfect opportunity to celebrate the incredible variety we have in this vibrant community. Sustainability and being kind to our planet is SO important to us, so what better way to celebrate Veganuary than by launching a brand-new market!

“We have a curated selection of vegan snacks, sweet treats, as well as artisanal and eco-friendly goods. It’s going to be a fantastic day to bring something new to the area and inspire people to give the plant-based way of life a whirl!”

The BIG Vegan Market will take place on Sunday 18 January 11am-4pm. Entrance is £3 per person with under 12s free. You’ll find The Steamworks at 111 Randall Street, S2 4SJ.
