Join Classic Ibiza’s birthday celebrations on Saturday 12 July at Chatsworth House.

Classic Ibiza returns to the stunning grounds of Chatsworth House on Saturday 12 July, promising a euphoric evening of over five hours of White Isle-inspired dance music to mark its tenth birthday.

To celebrate, you’ll be taken on a high-octane rollercoaster ride of the show’s most popular tracks, with an unmissable performance by some very special guests.

Gates open at 5.30pm, followed shortly by a DJ set by former Pacha Ibiza resident, DJ Jose Luis. He’ll be spinning Afro/Latin-infused house, as you soak up Chatsworth’s exquisite scenery over your picnics.

Towards the end of his set, London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC) make their first appearance as Classic Ibiza special guests. LCGC are one of the world’s most in demand choirs, having recorded with music icons such as Adele, Blur and Madonna. They’re also due to grace the stage at Pacha Ibiza (Flower Power) in June. Together, they’ll be performing a live mash-up of uplifting house, giving you a tantalising glimpse of what’s to come.

At 8pm, the party gets into full-swing as Stephen Hussey’s 32-piece Urban Soul Orchestra (USO) take centre stage for the Adnams Sundowner Set. They’ll also be joined by LCGC and DJ Goldierocks, creating a soulful wall of sound on classic house tracks like “You’ve Got The Love” and “Lola’s Theme”. USO have worked for over 25 years with many dance music greats, including Groove Armada, Robert Miles and Nightmares On Wax.

At 9pm, Classic Ibiza’s very-own DJ Goldierocks takes control of the decks for a set of deep house anthems. Goldierocks has performed at endless festivals and clubs all over the world, including Ministry of Sound, Pacha Ibiza and Glastonbury.

Then at 9.30pm, USO return to the stage for the Dance Set, the evening’s main event. As night falls, Chatsworth’s grounds will be transformed into a magical alfresco nightclub, with a stunning laser and light show. Their hour-and-a-half set is packed full of stone-cold house classics from the likes of The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy and Faithless.

By the time the concert draws to a close at 11pm, USO will have performed over 50 tracks from the show’s ten-year repertoire – a definite case of all killer, no filler!

As part of this year’s event, Classic Ibiza hosted a special poll that saw 58,000 social media followers select the house tunes they most wanted to be performed live by Stephen Hussey’s Urban Soul Orchestra and the show’s special guests, London Community Gospel Choir. The thousands of votes have now been counted, and the eight most popular tracks featuring at the show are:

• Blackwater – Octave One

• Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless) – Crystal Waters

• (I Wanna Give You) Devotion – Nomad

• Lola’s Theme – The Shapeshifters

• Saltwater – Chicane

• Sun Is Shining – Bob Marley vs. Funkstar De Luxe

• Sunchyme – Dario G

• You Got the Love – The Source ft. Candi Staton.

Classic Ibiza’s Lisa Ward says: “A huge thank you to everyone that voted in this year’s track poll. We’ve landed on a perfect mix of stone-cold house classics and some really uplifting, sing-along moments, which is what Classic Ibiza is all about. Having seen London Community Gospel Choir perform the Albert Hall over Christmas, I know that the combination with the incredible Urban Soul Orchestra is going to be something truly magical.”

Car parking is free, bring your own picnic, or visit the local street-food vendors and Adnams Bar on site. Just don’t forget to pack your dancing shoes and be ready to soak up the family-friendly vibe.
